Reflecting on Divided: One Mind, Two Hearts

Looking back at a project that holds a very special place in my musical journey: Divided: One Mind, Two Hearts. This was my very first experience composing an original soundtrack for a video game, created as a team entry for the Rayuela de Arena game jam.

The Collaborative Creative Process

Collaborating alongside a multidisciplinary team (artists, programmers, narrative and sound designers) was an incredible experience. Like many ambitious jam concepts with tight deadlines, our scope was perhaps too big for the development window, and the game remained an unfinished prototype.

Discovering New Musical Horizons

Even so, the creative journey was invaluable. It allowed me to explore claustrophobic ambient textures, driving chase rhythms, and emotional narrative melodies that eventually became the complete 9-track score.
